What to Expect on Delivery Day
1 · The Drop
The truck backs in and tips the load in about five minutes. A tarp underneath means zero cleanup.
2 · The Spot
We drop exactly where you marked at checkout — driveway or curbside, on pavement. The driver texts 20 minutes out.
3 · The Spread
Wheelbarrow it in yourself — or add installation and our crew spreads it with crisp edges the same day.
The fine print, up front
- Scheduling: pick a requested date and time window at checkout. Within 10 miles next-day is typical; in peak season (March–May) book 2–3 days ahead.
- You don’t have to be home for driveway drops — mark the spot at checkout and the driver follows it.
- We text twice: the evening before to confirm your window, and 20 minutes before the truck turns onto your street.
- One loose product per truck — each trip bills its own delivery. Pallets on the flatbed mix freely.
- Off-driveway drops are at the driver’s discretion — we protect your yard, your curb, and our trucks.

Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. Mark your drop spot at checkout — a photo helps — and the driver texts before and after, with a photo of the drop.
Can you split a load between the front and back?
One tip per delivery fee. Need two drop spots? Call us and we quote a second drop on the same trip.
What happens if it rains?
Mulch and pine straw deliver rain or shine. Soils and fines reschedule free when the forecast is heavy, so your pile does not turn to soup.
How big is the delivery truck?
Most drops come on a single-axle dump truck about 9 ft wide and 12–14 ft tall — our volume truck, carrying up to 25 cubic yards of mulch or 250 bales of pine straw at $7 per mile. Gravel, sand, and stone orders over 5 tons ride the tandem-axle CDL truck (up to 18 tons) at $12 per mile, and pallet orders arrive on our flatbed with its own forklift. Tight access?
