Topsoil Delivery — Screened, By the Cubic Yard
Screened topsoil, garden blends, and compost delivered across north metro Atlanta — billed by the road mile from our Cumming yard, $7 a mile with a $60 minimum. Within 10 miles, next-day is typical; order by 3 PM to keep the earliest date.
Which soil does your project want?
Screened topsoil for grading, leveling, and new lawns. Majors Road Garden Mix — our own blend, turned at the yard — for beds that need to feed. Topdressing blend (sand + compost) to level a lawn without smothering it. Raising grade or filling holes? That is fill dirt, not topsoil — cheaper, and made for structure.
How much do you need?
A cubic yard covers about 324 square feet at 1 inch, or 108 at 3 inches. Measure each area in feet, and the calculator on every product page converts to yards — rounded up to the half yard, the same number checkout uses. 20+ yards takes 10% off the materials automatically.
Good to Know
A yard of soil weighs about a ton — most pickups honestly carry half a yard.
Our single-axle brings up to 25 yards in one trip.

What is the difference between topsoil and fill dirt?
Topsoil grows things; fill dirt fills holes. If grass or plants are going on top, you want screened topsoil. If you are raising grade or backfilling, cheaper fill dirt does the job and topsoil goes on as the final layer.
