Product Description
Pine Bark Mini Nugget Mulch is made by stripping bark from pine trees. The bark is screened to size (1/2" - 1") for our Pine Bark Mini Nuggets. We also sell Pine Bark Jumbo Nuggets for those looking for larger bark pieces. Its rich brown color is natural and does not contain any dye. Our mini nuggets make for great decorative ground cover but are not recommended for steep hills due to the lightweight characteristics of the material. Pine Bark Mini Nuggets are the perfect choice for decorative flower beds!

For decorative garden areas, we recommend three inches overall depth of mulch. If your gardens are bare and you can see dirt, you should spread the mulch three inches thick. Each cubic yard will cover 108 square feet at 3" depth. We recommend refreshing your mulch layer annually. Pine Bark Mini Nuggets will degrade and decompose about one inch per year, however, traffic patterns, sunlight, and erosion can significantly affect your annual needs. Check your existing mulch depth. If you have one inch of existing mulch, you will need to spread the mulch two inches thick. Two inches of existing mulch needs a refresh of 1" of fresh mulch.
